White Russians

It was a dark and stormy Saturday night…the werewolves were relaxing in their caves along with the bats and all their friends… Suddenly at 22:30, an electric howl emerging from the Bloomsbury bowling lanes didn’t allow them to enjoy the silence. The White Russians had just started to perform their screamadelic music that was about to capture the crowds! With their far-West-meets-far-East dressing style the band proved themselves masters of post 80s style with touches of Texan chic. Ben made his Jazzmaster sing beautifully with his surf-style sounds that accompanied his deep vocals, while Martin stroked his Telecaster in a manner that would make Poison Ivy eat her heart out. Simon “the Beast” kept the band in unison with his rhythm while Chris revealed his dominating persona in the rhythm and melodies (his a bassist, not a fascist). And finally, behind four great men there’s a great woman, Lydia, making sure that the guys had their backs covered with her organ keyboards. The White Russians put a spell on the crowd so that they could not cease to dance along their 40 minute set. And the spell was so strong that people kept asking for more after the band finished…and more…and more…Enchanted crowds were at the White Russians mercy, the werewolves and vampires made a career change to dance, definitely a hit night for everyone!
